Are you walking down the aisle in 2020? If the answer is yes, we’ve picked some trends from the Bridal Fashion Week so that you can look gorgeous on your most special day! Here’s what’s hot now:

  1. Big Skirts

If you want to look/feel like a princess on your day, consider opting for a classic ball gown—and we saw plenty of them in the 2020 NY Bridal Fashion Week. You can also go for a ruffle skirt to give your dress a more romantic look.

Sequins, beading, embellishments…This style is sure to turn a few heads. This type of dress is perfect for evening weddings. Our tip: keep the accessories minimal!

  1. Florals

Just by taking a quick look at the Bridal Fashion Week, we can see that flowers are going to be very trendy in 2020. This is also a good way to add a burst of colour to the classically white wedding dress.

  1. Bows

If you love bows, 2020 is going to be your year! Indeed, bows are very chic and they always make the dress look more elegant and feminine.

Wearing a veil is one of the oldest wedding traditions. Nowadays, a veil isn’t a requirement but it can absolutely change the whole bridal look and give it a touch of glamour and sophistication. If you decide to wear a veil on your special day, first, you need to decide what length you want and once you’ve done that, you’ll have to decide what you want on your veil. However, we know that picking a veil can be stressful sometimes as there are so many lengths and styles available. At GWM, we make our own veils and we would love to go through our most popular ones to help you decide which look suits your style the most.

If you’re a minimalist or your wedding dress has a lot of glitz/lace, this veil is perfect for you – a tulle veil with no embellishments.

Who doesn’t love pearls, sequins and crystals? If you’re wearing a plain dress, a beaded veil would perfectly complete your bridal look and add some glamour!

And our favourite: Lace! Lace makes the look more romantic and delicate. This type of veil is a good choice if you’re wearing a simple dress or a dress with some lace details.
