For those brides, who are wondering which fabric will be a perfect match with their body type and the weather condition? We have some suggestions for your reference:

1. Satin:

Why Satin is most bride’s favorite  wedding dress fabric?

Satin is suitable for any type of body. It has a smooth finish with a lot of body, making it perfect for more structured gowns. Besides, it’s a good choice for ruched, draped, and ball gown styles.

In general, Satin is made of pure silk, all polyester, or a blend. And as it tends to be a thicker fabric, it will be best choice for chiller weather weddings.

2. Silk:

Why Silk is the most expensive fabric?

Silk is one of the most traditional fabrics but also an expensive material. Nevertheless, Silk is not only timeless but versatile. Moreover, it’s durable, comes in different textures and styles. In general, the fabric is suitable for a shear silhouette and suited for all seasons.

3. Chiffon:

What make Chiffon suitable for destination weddings?

Chiffon is a delicate and sheer fabric so it will be used in layers or overlaid over a more structured fabric. In general, this is the lightest wedding dress material. Therefore, it is suitable for destination weddings in a tropical land/beach or warmer weather conditions.

4. Tulle:

Tulle is a stiff, transparent netting made of nylon, silk, polyester or a blend of fibres. Therefore, it goes well with lace, sequins or beading. Moreover, if you wish a fuller look for your dress, then adding layers of tulle is the best option. In conclusion, the fabric is suitable for Ball Gowns, A-line and Mermaid dresses.

5. Crepe:

Crepe is made of soft silk. In general, it’s gauzy and crinkled so will be a perfect match to soft silhouette. Additionally, it’s ideal for brides who want to show off their curve as the fabric clings to the body and drapes beautifully. Finally, it goes well with bows and buttons. In conclusion, Crepe is suitable for Sheath, Fit & Flare dresses and Jumpsuits. All seasons appropriate.
