Everything about A-line and Ballgown dresses

As promised, here we are with the second part of the ultimate guide! Today we are bringing you everything about A-line, Ballgown, and Princess dresses. We will be talking about differences, body types that will suit each dress, and style them!

A-line

A-line wedding dresses are considered the halfway point between a ballgown and a sheath dress. It flares out from the waist, creating an ‘A’ shape, which is where the name comes from.

You will find that A-line gowns tend to have a flowy feel to them.

Most used fabrics are tulle, lace, organza and mikado.

Perfect for: most body shapes, elongates the more petit bride.

Ballgown/Princess Dress

Ballgowns have a fitted bodice and a full skirt. This dress is the fairytale silhouette, perfect for most classic weddings, giving you the cinderella effect that you have always dreamed of. The princess dress can be overwhelming on the more petite brides, but ideal to cinch in the waist and prioritize bust support.

Perfect for: most body types.
